Scary Mommy — Everyday, I live in fear of something horrific happening to one of my kids. An accident, a disease…Those things can happen to any of our kids, and the mere thought is simply too much to bear. And then there are the days I fear something horrific happening to Jeff or myself. An accident, a disease… Those things can happen to any of us, and the notion of my kids not growing up with Jeff or I is a terrifying one. My bloggy friend, Anissa, just had a second stroke at 35.
